What is NEO?

The name “NEO” came from the prefix defined as “new”. What it means to us is “a new choice”, or “a new way of thinking” around living a drug free lifestyle. We’re the New generation of youth that will have a choice not to use drugs because there will be alternatives such as dances, concerts, movie nights, skate competitions, or anything else that we want to see happen in the community continuously for the youth by the youth. NEO also means that you recognize the pressures that you are faced with and that you have decided not to give into them. It applies to everything in your life, whether it‘s the music you listen to or the way you dress. It’s about staying true to who you are even if it feels like everyone else expects something else of you.
